Nešlo by udělat, aby se daly druhy souborů asociovat určitému java programu??? Myslím jako to uměl DocViewer a PdfViewer. Je to uděláno strukturou souboru Meta-inf/MANIFEST.MF. MobileZip by se přiřadil k .zip souborům, 3gp k VideoPlayeru od Milana Laslopa, .cod k FileCoderu od Shadyho...

Neviem, ešte som neskúšal - ale určite by to išlo.
Bolo by treba ale potom aj naprogramovať do aplikácie, aby zistila, či je práve otváraný nejaký súbor a otvorila ho. Neviem, ako ostatné aplikácie, ktoré si vymenoval, ale môj VideoPlayer tak naprogramovaný zatiaľ nie je.
